THE CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY INTO THE AHSICT

Direct admission to AHSICT is by competition, both for access to the Bachelor's degree cycle and for access to the Master's degree cycle. A jury composed of representatives of the public, private and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sectors adopts the list of candidates authorized to compete and proclaims the results of eligibility and admission. The final results are decided by the Minister.


For the Bachelor’s cycle

  • A-Application conditions
    • Any person who meets the following conditions may apply:
      • Have a scientific Baccalaureate (C, E or D) from the current school year;
      • Be no more than 22 years old on 31 December of the current school year;
      • Have a weighted average in Mathematics and Physics greater than or equal to 10.
    The weighted average of each of these subjects is obtained by dividing by three (03) the sum of the annual class average and two (02) times the Baccalaureate score.

    For the MASTER's cycle

    • A-Application conditions
      • Any person who meets the following conditions may apply:
        • Be enrolled in the 3rd year of a General or Professional Bachelor in Telecommunications, Computing or Electronics;
        • Be no more than 25 years old on 31 December of the current school year.
      Final admission is subject to obtaining the Bachelor before the closing date for registration for the current academic year.



      TRAINING PATHS

      The AHSICT training system is the L - M - D (Licence/Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate). Only the courses in the Science and Technology Domain will be presented here.

      Bachelor degree path

      The 1st year of the Bachelor is a year of common core, it leads to three specialities (or courses) from the 2nd year:

      • Systems and Networks and Informatics and Telecommunications (SNIT), leading to a General Bachelor;
      • Networks and Telecommunications (NTEL), which leads to a Professional Bachelor;
      • Computer Systems and Software Engineering (CSSE), which also leads to a Professional Bachelor.

      Master degree path

      In a Master's degree, students directly integrate each of their two (2) specialities (or courses), with :

      • two (2) years of common core curriculum for those in the Master in Telecom (in M 1 and M 2);
      • and one (1) year of common core curriculum for those in the Master in Computer Science, who will have to choose between two options in 2nd year:
      • Computer Systems and Software Engineering (CSSE), which also leads to a Professional Bachelor.
        • Information System and Software Engineering (ISSE);
        • Computer Security and Web Technologies (CSWT).
