AHSICT's research areas can be summarized into eight fundamental themes backed by research projects directly linked to the social, economic and cultural realities of Côte d'Ivoire, while integrating developments at the global level.

Thème 1 : Deployment of ICTs in the tertiary, educational and industrial sector: Improving service productivity and supporting good governance by creating a digital working environment.
Thème 2 : Embedded systems, Control and digital sensor in industrial systems.
Thème 3 : Geolocation and home automation: the aim is to set up a support system for people with disabilities, visually impaired people (health and housing sector).
Thème 4 : Image Processing and Recognition (TERI) aims to enable the development of new tools for pattern recognition.
Thème 5 : Mathematics applied to ICT: focusing on signal processing, data processing and operational research.
Thème 6 : Controlled networked systems and wireless sensor networks: they have many applications in agriculture (temperature and humidity measurement), health (patient and baby monitoring), logistics (information traceability, detection of free parking spaces).
Thème 7 : Smart electricity grids: they collect information through ICTs and enable the use of intermittent energy sources to control the electricity grid, secure it and prevent electricity fraud
Thème 8 : ICT law in Côte d'Ivoire: current situation and legal perspectives: Preparation of educational materials accessible to professionals in the sector, teachers and students. These works will be updated in line with normative developments.
